This page contains the terms and conditions concerning your use of the Healthcarebia Home Healthcare Center online payment website or otherwise. By accessing this site, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. As a valued patient at Healthcarebia, you and your family shall have the following rights.

You are requested to fully understand and practice all your rights. If, for any reason, you are unable to understand them, please contact our customer service manager for any help.

1. Receive impartial care and respect for your personal values and beliefs from all staff without discrimination, according to DHA's rules and regulations.

2. Receive comprehensive medical care aiming at reaching proper medical diagnosis and treatment of your condition and/or illness and/or injury.

3. Know the identity (Name & Specialty) of the physician responsible for your care.

4. Receive comprehensive information about your diagnosis, proposed treatment, any changes in your health status and causes of such changes, alternative treatments, probabilities of treatment success or failure, therapy advantages and disadvantages, possible problems related to the treatment and expected results of ignoring the treatment in a simple, comprehensible manner.

5. Have an interpreter or other close relative if the language presents a barrier to understanding details of your comprehensive medical care.

6. You have the right to have a person of one’s own gender present during certain parts of a physical examination, treatment or procedure performed by a health professional of the opposite sex and the right not to remain disrobed any longer than is required for accomplishing the medical purpose for which disrobing was needed.

7. Give your written General Consent for treatment upon committing to receiving our services.

8. Give your written informed consent before any surgery, minimally-invasive procedure, anesthesia, transfusion of blood and blood products, or any other medical procedures that entail your written consent (according to DHA's rules and regulations) after receiving all information that you may need.

9. Participate in your care decision-making. Healthcarebia encourages patients, parents, or legal guardians to participate in planning and implementing the treatment with nurses and physicians.

10. Obtain a medical report and a copy of medical test results from the Medical Records Section (upon your request), for which Healthcarebia will charge you as per DHA's rules and regulations.

11. Expect privacy during the performance of all examinations, procedures, and treatment at the chosen location of service, and Healthcarebia to maintain the confidentiality of all your information.

12. Choose the treating team doctor (upon availability and upon operational needs).

13. If you happen to refuse the treatment, the treating doctor must inform you of the medical consequences of the same. You shall then, accordingly sign a form with your decision.

14. You have the right to refuse examination or follow-up of your treatment details by any person not directly responsible for your care. For persons who are not directly involved in your treatment, they must have your prior permission to attend your case discussion, examination, and treatment.

15. Be protected during your treatment from any physical, verbal, or psychological assault.

16. Have a family member or guardian as an escort, depending on your availability, and your health status, as per DHA's rules and regulations.

17. Receive, upon your request, an itemized bill explaining all charges which is expected to be paid by yourself alone unless agreed otherwise at the discretion of the company management.

18. Complain, suggest and comment on services to a customer service manager or via the following mediums.

19. Regular feedback shall be taken to determine the levels of satisfaction of complainants with the complaints-handling process. Detailed feedback of the complainant is taken for resolution of the same.

20. All queries/concerns are acknowledged within 24 hrs and communication of the resolution, within reasonable working days.

21. View your medical record under the supervision of the treating doctor or medical team staff, according to DHA's rules and regulations.

22. You have the right to get appropriate assessment and management of pain through well-known therapies and get all the necessary information in this regard.

23. In case of any new scientific research conducted by DHA pertaining to your treatment, your doctor will inform you of all the related issues including potential benefits and risks, therapeutic alternatives, and medical research protocol details.

24. Healthcarebia is committed to providing terminally ill and dying patients with decent and compassionate care respecting their unique needs, according to DHA's regulations.

25. Get a second opinion on normal charges without fear of compromise to your care.

26. To express spiritual/religious/cultural beliefs, provided they do not interfere in company safety/privacy/operations. These will be considered by Healthcarebia Home Healthcare Center.

27. Full disclosure of the cost of health services and relevant information to all the services provided by the facility. This is at the discretion of Healthcarebia Home Healthcare Center.

As a valued patient at Healthcarebia, you and your family have the following responsibilities:

1. Respect the center’s rules and regulations including the terms of visiting hours, foods instructions, smoking, etc.,

2. Show consideration for others and deal with other patients and staff with respect.

3. Respect the privacy and comfort of other patients.

4. Provide complete and accurate information about present complaints, past illnesses, previous hospitalization, treatments, and any known drug allergy.

5. Follow the treating doctor's instructions.

6. Take responsibility for refusing or not following the treatment plan, after being informed about the potential consequences of this decision.

7. Avoid delay in taking an appointment from the Booking team as soon as it is requested by the doctor.

8. Attend the appointment on time. If you want to cancel it, inform the Booking team, at least 4 hours in advance.

9. Respect the priority given to Emergency cases.

10. Observe safety regulations including the no-smoking policy, maintaining the cleanliness of the place, hand hygiene etc.

11. Mentally imbalanced patients must always be accompanied by a family member or a guardian.

12. Ensure that financial obligations due for DHA are fulfilled promptly (if any).

13. Provide requested samples and attend medical your check-up on time.

14. Avoid leaving valuable personal belongings whilst receiving your service. The Healthcarebia Home Health Care Center will not be held responsible for loss of/damage to such belongings. The Center’s management is not responsible for any consequences resulting from non-adherence to the above instructions.
